New Wave Productions has produced, directed, launched, managed, and continues to consult on the following productions, projects, brands and events since its inception in 1995.

Produced and transmission managed the ‘East Net’ channel for MNet in 1995-1996.
Launched and managed the operations of ‘ZEE TV’ in 1996-1999, Africa’s first Asian digital satellite channel on Multichoice’s DStv platform.
Commissioned to produce South Africa’s first multi-faith series ‘Heart & Soul’ for the SABC in 1999-2001. Commissioned the new look multi-faith series ‘Shadows of Divinity’ in 2001 2002 for the SABC.
Sony Entertainment Network appointed New Wave Productions to launch and manage ‘Sony TV Asia’ in Africa in 2001 on Multichoice DStv. At the same time ‘B4U Movies’ also appointed New Wave Productions to represent their brand in Africa on the same DStv platform. 2011 and we still represent and manage these two global premium digital channels in Africa.
Produced and directed the ‘Bollywood Movie & Music Awards’ in 2003 for Sony TV at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, USA.
In 2002, the company was contracted by Sony Pictures to produce a 26 part South African travel series for the ‘ICC Cricket World Cup’ held in South Africa. The series was broadcast throughout the tournament on Sony MAX.
In 2003, New Wave Productions was successful in securing the series ‘Spirit Sundae’, the first ever live weekly Sunday breakfast show on SABC1. The popularity and success of this series has seen this production extend into its current 11th series into 2011.
New Wave Productions has produced a range of documentaries every year since 2004 under the series ‘Issues of Faith’ for SABC2. The company continues to contribute two more documentaries in 2011.
Event co-ordination and direction of the annual Sony TV ‘Boogie Woogie’ dance contest in South Africa since 2006, and the annual International Finals in New Jersey, New York & London.
Preferred technical director of the prestigious Sony TV annual ‘British Asian Sports Awards’ since 2006 held at the Hilton Parklane in London.
Produced the MNet New Directions short film ‘Tamat’ in 2006, shot in Cape Town.
Commissioned by SABC2 in 2008 to produce the 13 part ‘Women in Science’ education series.
Launched the ‘Sony MAX’ movie channel in 2008 on Multichoice DStv. New Wave Productions continues to represent the channel as part of the overall Sony TV Africa Representative title.
