The company specializes in all genres of television programming ranging from documentaries, long form series, and live studio broadcasts, outside broadcast location shoots, special events and stage shows. In house research and co-ordination skills, coupled with exceptional production management skills and technical directing expertise, makes New Wave Productions a formidable player in both the local and international film and television industry. PRE-PRODUCTION & ADMINISTRATION We offer professionally designed office facilities which includes ergonomic workstations; fully networked Dell computers, with Avaya telephone technology making our pre-production and administrative space efficient, comfortable and effective. High speed internet, fax, and copier, full UPS back up provides the backbone to all our facilities. Production meeting rooms and a video library makes any idea easily take to the screen, big or small. CAMERA & SOUND EQUIPMENT
New Wave Productions has its own in-house cameras ranging from the simple Sony PD150 & PD170 miniDV Camcorders, Sony HDV Z1E Camcorder and the Panasonic HD P2 Camcorder with 64Gig card & reader. All necessary accessories from batteries, reflector boards to cables and connectors are included. Manfrotto tripods with Sachtler DV6 fluid head. Full lighting kits from Arri Redheads, Blondes and Cosmo compact kits. Audio includes Sennheiser EW500 Radio Mics and AKG lapel mics, RE50 handheld mics, Fostex headphones and Sony rifle mics with boom and zeppelin. POST-PRODUCTION: VIDEO

POST -PRODUCTION: AUDIO Complete ProTools 9 HD audio final mix suite with voice recording booth and up to-date music library which is CD and Hard Drive retrievable. The system is fully networked to the FCP video edit suites via a Gigabit switch (10Gigs/ 2min) for effective sharing of projects. GRAPHICS Adobe CS5 Master Collection and Lightwave graphics packages are available. More complex graphics requirements and animation is outsourced to other partner companies who have the expertise and facilities and are willing to work within budgets and schedules. VIDEO TAPE STOCK We carry stock of all formats of video tapes for location shoots and mastering. PERSONNEL & CREW We surround ourselves with experienced, professional and courteous personnel who understand and respect the industry at all levels of production. We have a reliable database of freelance crew members who we use often on location shoots, in studio, at events and in post-production. |
